Classifier Comment: “We liked this horse very much, but when we saw him jump we loved him!”

2004 five year old Young Dressage Horse Champion.

Currently in training with Harry Boldt and progressing well. He is showing good promise in his work for the higher levels with his willing temperament and great attitude.

Quixote is a lovable and affectionate horse, yet still the 'Macho Man' around the farm.

His foals are very true to type, the hallmark of a good sire, they all have his great temperament and compact, athletic and powerful physique.

Elouera Farm stallions are bred for performance and trainability. At his performance test Purioso (Quixote's sire) easily met the high expectations. For free jumping he received an eight, but under saddle he was even more impressive, which earned him a nine. It’s no wonder he has been awarded the predicate 'Keur'.

Purioso has sired many excellent sport horses including five progeny short listed for the Barcelona Olympic Games (three Showjumping, two Dressage).

Purioso’s progeny include; Olympic Cocktail (Anky van Grunsven of Holland), Arnaldo Thor (Dominique d'Esmee of France) and Icarus (Mary Hanna of Australia). Of considerable note are his sons Bentley, Cantor, Faldo and Prince Paradiso.
